Welcome to AFelizCyberLabs
Mission Statement 🛡️
I spent over a decade as an automotive service advisor, and so my professional background is not in IT. It’s in talking to people, figuring out their needs, and finding ways to relate and explain complex issues to them in ways that they understand. I recently decided to pursue an education in cybersecurity, and I am bringing that same approach here. This site is my attempt to capture the concepts I’ve learned – in real time, hands-on, and in plain language.
The technical content is real – there will be commands, configs, and troubleshooting logs – but I’m writing for the version of me that existed six months ago, not for someone who already knows what a VLAN is. If you’re early in your cybersecurity journey, I hope this site makes the path feel a little less overwhelming. If you’re a hiring manager, I hope it shows you a little bit about how I think and how I learn.
